Christmas Stovetop Potpourri

One of the best ways to fill your home with yummy Christmas smells is to simmer some stovetop potpourri. This is a much more natural option than those overpowering candles or AirWicks (yuck). And it’s easy and affordable!

Christmas Stovetop Potpourri

Ingredients
  

  • 6-8 cups water
  • 1 orange or apple
  • 1 cup fresh cranberries
  • 3-4 cinnamon sticks
  • 3 sprigs rosemary
  • 2 tsp whole cloves

Instructions
 

  • Slice your orange.
  • Add all ingredients to a pot or large saucepan. I used a 5.5 qt dutch oven.
  • Fill your pot with about 6-8 cups of water depending on the size of your pot. I used 8 cups of water.
  • Simmer on low to fill your home with the scents of the holidays. Add more water as needed.
