From Fort Worth with Love
Cran-Raspberry Whiskey Cocktail. Fresh and not too sweet. Easy to make in big batches for cocktail parties.
- handful frozen raspberries
- 2 oz Whiskey
- .5 cup cranberries
- .5 cup sugar
- 1 cup water
- splash Zero sugar ginger ale
- sprig rosemary for garnish
Fill your glass with ice
Add a handful of frozen raspberries
Pour in 2 oz (or more) of your favorite whiskey
Pour in 1-2 Tbsp of the cranberry simple syrup (recipe below)
Top with zero sugar ginger ale
Garnish with rosemary
Cranberry Simple Syrup
Boil 1 cup water, .5 cup sugar in small saucepan. Once sugar is dissolved, turn heat down to medium to keep it simmering. Add .5 cup of cranberries. Simmer on medium for about 10 minutes. Take off heat and let cool. Strain syrup into separate cup or bowl.
